Junior Chefs' Academies continue to grow

Since 2012, The Geoffrey Harrison Foundation, Harrison Catering Services charity, has sponsored Junior Chefs’ Academies at the University of West London and the Westminster Kingsway College. 

Solid foundation provided for next generation of chefs

Gareth Harrison, Trustee of the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation, was delighted to attend the Academy for Professional skills’ junior chef graduation on Saturday 25 June at the University of West London. This term 44 junior chefs graduated following sponsorship by the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation which has been helping youngsters improve their prospects in the hospitality and catering industry for more than four years.

A paving stone bearing the name of The Geoffrey Harrison Foundation has been placed in the heart of the University of West London’s Ealing site in recognition of the Foundation’s support of the University’s ‘Lighting the Way’ campaign.

Foundation Lends Its Support to Dr B’s Training Programme

Junior Chefs Academy at University of West London

The Junior Chefs Academy offers opportunity to young people in school years 9, 10 and 11 to engage in learning professional cookery.  The course introduces them to practical skills underpinned by basic theory and nutrition.
